Test Configuration and Instructions

1. Start the Server Management Tool on the RADIUS server (servers wgxpc1 & wgxpc3)

   /opt/Lucent/NavisRadius/bin/nrsmt –user admin –pass admin –l

2. Verify that your RADIUS server has a realm configured for your users (wg1pc1, wg2pc2, etc.)

   Use the NavisRadius Þ PolicyAssistant configuration panel

3. Create a user account in the user file named “users”

   Use the File Tools Þ User Files panel

4. Close the Server Management Tool
5. Start NavisRadius

   /opt/Lucent/NavisRadius/bin/nr start radius

6. Monitor the NavisRadius log file

   tail –f /opt/Lucent/NavisRadius/run/navisradius.log

7. Start a PPP session from your Windows 98 PC using the username and realm you defined (servers wgxpc2 & wgxpc4)
