There are no ISPs in the Republic of Tajikistan at thepresent moment
(December 1998). There are a few on-going projects of connectingto
the Internet:

1. Ministry of communication of RT together with"Tajiktelecom"
and ATK "Telecom Technology LTD".
These organizations have equipment for Internet connectivity
and will start commercial activitity in the beginning of 1999.

2. Central Asia Development Agency (CADA).
This organization plans to start working in the first part
of 1999.
It will be a non-commercial ISP.

3. Academy of Sciences of Republik of Tajikistan.
It received financial support of Science Committee of NATO
but still awaits Goverment's permission for a non commercial
activity.
